The Relational Ecotherapy Institute is a center of professional knowledge that conducts training in the field of ecotherapy and nature-based wellness practices. We train ecotherapists, forest therapy guides, strengthen the competencies of healthcare workers, and those in the education sector. We support biophilic solutions in business. Our courses are based on current scientific research and evidence-based medicine. We prioritize the subjective treatment of Nature and the building of authentic relationships with the environment, with a focus on caring for reciprocity and One Health – people, other species, and the planet. Why is it worth learning with us?
Team
Our team includes well-known experts from various fields of ecotherapy with rich practical experience, scientific achievements, working interdisciplinary.
Scientific research
REI training is based on current, numerous scientific studies (evidence based medicine)and the training team continually enhances its competencies and knowledge in this field, actively participating in scientific collaborations and projects
Experiencing
We work in a relational approach, which requires personal experiencing of contact with nature and understanding the workshop from a practical perspective. That’s why our courses take place outdoors, and attendance at on-site and field classes is necessary to obtain certificates.
Methods
Appreciating the intellectual understanding of interactions between people and their natural environment, we incorporate various methods of knowledge acquisition into our training processes. Following the thought of C. G. Jung, in experiencing nature, we encourage the balanced use of the four main psychological functions – thinking, sensory perception, feelings, and intuition. We believe that there is no human health without the health of other species and the planet, and the relationships between them are the key to maintaining well-being and balance. Therefore, our actions align with the One Health approach*(recognizing the interconnection between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment).
Diversity
Our courses are tailored to various target groups depending on their needs (certification courses, supplementary training, weekend workshops, masterclass training, webinars, training for improving relationships and working conditions, competence-expanding training within existing professions), professions (offering for medical, auxiliary, educational, natural, business professions, among others), and topics of interest (forest therapy, environmental education, ecotherapy, therapeutic ornithology, among others).
